Willow

Incredibly intelligent. She loves being around humans and is extremely anxious around some dogs. She absolutely loves tennis balls and would spend all day chasing them and bringing them back.

My name is Alex and along with James we are Willow’s handlers. In the 4 short weeks that we have been working with Willow, there have been many positive developments. Growing up as a stray on the streets, Willow was never leash trained. When she was brought to us here at SAC, she was very reactive to other dogs and pulled on the leash constantly. She came in a little underweight and has since filled out with muscle. She now has amazing loose leash control and no longer pulls. Her dog reactivity has gone from a 5+ down to a low 2. We have been diligently working on breaking her severe tennis ball addiction and occasional wild case of the zoomies. Willow is extremely intelligent, and James and I often wonder who is training who. Please be sure to check back in the to get updates on Willow’s progress.
