In the heart of our community, a group of extraordinary 5th graders at Folsom Middle School has ignited a spark of compassion that has touched us deeply.
Their recent initiative, a towel drive for our rescue, has yielded an incredible result: nearly 300 towels collected!
We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on these remarkable young philanthropists who have demonstrated the true spirit of giving. Through their dedication and hard work, they have not only provided essential resources for the dogs in our care but have also shown the power of kindness and empathy.
To each and every student who participated in this remarkable endeavor, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your efforts have made a tangible difference in the lives of our rescue dogs, and your generosity serves as a beacon of hope for our entire community. A special "shout-out" to Jordan who was the main organizer and spokesperson for this project.
We have included some pictures of our overstuffed bounty. We have already reached out to other shelter/rescue organizations to share in our amazing, unexpected gift.
As we celebrate your achievement, we are reminded that compassion knows no age limit. Thank you for inspiring us all with your compassion, determination, and selflessness.
With deepest appreciation,
Stars and Stripes Dog Rescue
